  • Favorite Movie: The Notebook
  • Favorite Color: White
  • Favorite eye care product: One-day disposable contact lenses."I started wearing contact lenses at 11 years old, when contact lenses were worn for an entire year (or more). Contact lenses were super expensive for just one pair, plus cleaning was tedious. Today, I wear a fresh pair every day and enjoy crisp vision without the maintenance."

I look forward to forming connections with patients and seeing them every year. My goal at the end of the day is to have patients leave happy and with the best care!

  • What is your favorite part of helping patients with their vision? It’s great to find the right solution for patients when it comes to glasses. From choosing the right lenses to choosing the perfect frame. I love assisting patients in finding their glasses and will always be happy to lend a hand in choosing between frames. The hard part of needing glasses is having to choose a frame. We wear our glasses all the time, and they become part of our look; we’ll want them to be comfortable and stylish.
  • A favorite hobby you enjoy outside of work: My favorite hobby would have to be playing video games with my friends. We all meet up online around the same time; it’s become a routine at this point. I specifically enjoy team games since they can include more of my friends. It’s also fun to see what kind of dynamic we’ll have when playing team games. I love doing this because it’s a great way to chat with my friends, especially the ones who live in a different city.
  • Do you wear glasses or contacts yourself? I wear both glasses and contacts, but I tend to wear my glasses most of the time. Since they are an essential accessory, I like having multiple types of frames that I can coordinate with different outfits. On hotter days, I’ll wear my contacts more often, but I still find myself wearing some non-prescription sunglasses.

I consider vision to be the most precious of our five senses, so it is great to be part of a team that helps people properly take care of theirs. I also love getting to know the patients and their lifestyles to see what type of glasses/lenses would work the best for them.

  • What is your favorite part of helping patients with their vision? My favorite part of helping patients with their vision is when I get to know them a little bit better to help recommend the best eye care product for their lifestyle, whether it be glasses, contact lenses, or something else.
  • A favorite hobby you enjoy outside of work: I enjoy painting and reading in my spare time.
  • Do you wear glasses or contacts yourself? Yes, I used to wear glasses and soft contact lenses depending on the occasion. Right now, I am wearing Ortho-K lenses overnight, so during the day, I am able to see perfectly without glasses or contact lenses!

  • A favorite hobby you enjoy outside of work: I enjoy collecting K-Pop albums and going to concerts. I also love trying out new coffee shops and playing online games with my friends!
  • Do you wear glasses or contacts yourself? I used to wear glasses when I was little for about two years, but then I switched to Ortho-K when I was 9, and I still wear it today! Now I enjoy my vision since it corrects itself overnight.

  • What is your favorite part of helping patients with their vision? I enjoy the feeling I get from helping patients with their vision and understanding that it’s going to make their work, hobbies, and time spent with others easier and more enjoyable with clear vision. I also like simply getting to know patients and seeing their various personalities and unique lifestyles.
  • A favorite hobby you enjoy outside of work: My favorite hobby is training and teaching Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. It keeps me healthy while also stimulating me mentally. It’s instilled strong morals and values in me. I also enjoy spending time with my two dogs. One is a Shiba Inu, and the other is an Australian Shepherd. I take them on walks, play fetch, and take them to the beach. They are a handful.
  • Do you wear glasses or contacts yourself? I wear contacts daily when I’m out and about or simply going throughout my day. When I’m relaxing at home or enjoying my weekend, I typically wear my glasses.

  • What is your favorite part of helping patients with their vision? I love being the first point of contact for the patients when they want to book an appointment, whether it be for a regular annual eye exam or if they are having other issues with their vision. Even though I’m behind the screen, I get to hear the relief in their voice when, together, we’ve found the best appointment date and time for them. I also love it when I get to witness the patient’s excitement when their glasses or contacts have arrived. It’s also rewarding when patients share how they love their new glasses or contacts after they’ve tried them for the first time.
  • A favorite hobby you enjoy outside of work: I enjoy reading anything fictional and discovering new indie coffee shops and matcha bars in our city, together with our local silent book club. I also enjoy watching anime and reading manga/manhwa.
  • Do you wear glasses or contacts yourself? I have glasses that I wear only when I’m outside, but not really every time. This is my very first pair of glasses that I got a year ago.
